Those in-the-know will immediately recognise the Minimoog styling and layout of this Studio Electronics offering, but under the face lies a number of the same subtle yet effective tweaks and improvements that were first introduced decades ago with the Studio Electronics SE-1. The SE-3X synth is the result of user-demand and features all of the smaller details that simply make for better analogue synthesis and complete a remarkably devoted Moog-remake. Here, you're getting a paraphonic (three-voice) setup; an integrated preset memory, a diverse array of filters that don't just span Moog, but SE, ARP, the Juno, Jupiter, Oberheim, and more. Basically, this is an ultra-professional and ultra-thoughtful monster of a rack synth.
